Festivals Worldwide

There are many ways to travel: you can go in-season, off-season, in-style, on a shoe-string, with a backpack, with a suitcase, short-term, long-term, to a new place, to an old favorite, and on and on and on. Almost all of these options carry with them at least some scheduling flexibility.

Visiting a city or country during an annual festival is a great way to experience the culture of that place; what is important to the people and what is to be celebrated. You’ll also often find said inhabitants in the best of moods, but the trade-off is that you have to visit on their calendar, not yours.

The Festivals Worldwide page of Independent Travel Planning is designed to offer you the opportunity to mix with the locals and join the party any time of the year! Use the list below to pick a destination and dates and then Contact ITP for an independent, custom-designed itinerary built around your festival of choice.
